Sixers Beat Pistons 111-96, Earn Fourth Win

The 76ers took down the Detroit Pistons 111-96 to gain their fourth win of the season Saturday night in Motown.
Tyrese Maxey led the way for the club with 28 points, going 11/24 from the floor and 5/10 from beyond the arc. The young guard also racked up a team high six assists while Paul George pulled down eight rebounds to lead the club.
The Sixers got out to a hot start early on, holding a 17 point lead at the conclusion of the first quarter (37-20).
The Pistons quickly tightened the margin in the second period, outscoring the Sixers by 12 in the quarter.
Nonetheless the Sixers were able to pull away in the third period and held off a minor Detroit run in the fourth period to come away with just their fourth win this year.
With the win the Sixers move to 4-14 on the season and sit at 14th in the Eastern Conference.
